It was a nice relaxing service this Sunday. This Trinity Sunday. I realized while I was writing the sermon that I have been writing sermons for over a year. I praised the congregation for listening to my sermons for that long and still coming to church!
Part of the sermon, which I will post tomorrow, was about practicing your Christianity. Jesus sent us to spread his message to all nations and one of my main points was that of course you spread it through the Word but it is just as important that Christ's message be spread through example. When you put His message into practice, you become the message.
I need to get better at that.
