Sunny Day

Yesterday, while we were on our way to an appointment in Des Moines, Sherry and I were caught in a nasty storm.  We had to pull into a parking lot for about a half hour until it lightened up. We had been remarking on how good the corn fields looked on our way into Des Moines.  It was a different story on the way home.  Hail and wind had done its work on those same fields. It was really sad.

It is a beautiful sunny day today.  We are bracing ourselves for the weekend.  I will go over to the church this morning and walk through the ordination service one more time.  I need to call the diocese and make sure they are OK with the order of service that Frank put together.

When I go to the church, the first thing I will do is sit down and pray.

Peace,
Deacon Fred
