I attended a wonderful orientation last week at the Food Bank of Iowa in Des Moines. The people who work there do a great service for those Iowans living in poverty. Food Bank of Iowa is the distribution center for the food pantries in most of the central section of our state. Most pantries like our own in Lucas county survive on a shoestring budget and with the Food Bank's help we can do so much more.
