I had a goal a couple of years ago. I was going to read both the old and new testament in one summer. I was unsuccessful. Life got in the way or I was distracted or something. Anyway, I read something today that put that goal in perspective. The author had had a similar goal and then he realized this.
The goal is not to get through the Scriptures. The goal is to get the scriptures through us.
Think about it.
