I thought a lot about yesterdays post. I try to wear the clerical collar often, and I do it mainly because it makes a statement. I am not talking about some holier than thou attitude but because it is a reminder to people that they have a spiritual side. Wearing a clerical collar rarely has such a profound effect that someone turns over cash to the person wearing it but I think in some subtle way people are affected.
My cousin Ruthann sent me a lot of pictures of the ordination and as soon as I figure out how to transfer them they will be in this post.
